Turingedge Technologies Private Limited ("we", "us", "our") operates Johri AI, a WhatsApp-based
AI design assistant for jewellery retailers and craftspeople. This policy explains
what information we collect, how we use it, and the rights you have under the
Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (India) and the General Data
Protection Regulation (GDPR) where it applies.
1. Information we collect
- WhatsApp account information. When you message our
WhatsApp business number, we receive your phone number, profile name, and the
contents of your message (text, images, voice notes, contacts you forward).
- Business details you provide. Shop name, brand kit
(logo, colours, watermark text), staff phone numbers and roles, plan
subscriptions, and any catalogue, product, or design details you submit.
- Generated content. Images, videos, catalogues, and copy
produced by our AI based on your inputs, along with their generation
parameters.
- Operational metadata. Message timestamps, delivery
status, queue and quota usage, error logs, and IP addresses or device strings
surfaced by WhatsApp or by API integrations.
- Payment metadata. When you upgrade a plan or buy a
top-up via Razorpay, we receive transaction status and identifiers but
never your card or bank credentials, which Razorpay handles
directly under PCI-DSS.
2. How we use your information
- To deliver the design, catalogue, video, and assistant features you
request through WhatsApp.
- To enforce plan limits, rate limits, and quotas; to notify you when work
completes or fails; to send service messages within the WhatsApp 24-hour
customer service window.
- To improve product quality, including aggregated and de-identified
analytics. We do not use your photos to train third-party foundation models.
- To prevent fraud, abuse, and policy violations on our platform and on
the WhatsApp Business Platform.
- To comply with legal obligations, court orders, or lawful requests.
3. Sharing with processors
To run the service we share specific data with the following sub-processors,
under contractual confidentiality and security obligations:
- Meta Platforms, Inc. — message delivery via WhatsApp
Business Cloud API.
- Microsoft Azure OpenAI — language and image generation,
with zero-retention enterprise terms.
- Google Cloud (Gemini / Veo) — video generation.
- Razorpay Software Pvt. Ltd. — payment processing.
- Google Cloud Platform — infrastructure hosting (servers,
databases, backups in the us-central1 region).
We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with advertisers.
4. Retention
Account, conversation, and generated-asset records are retained while your
account is active and for up to 90 days after account closure to support
billing reconciliation, fraud prevention, and dispute resolution. Backups age
out within 35 days. You can request earlier deletion (see Section 6).
5. Security
Data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+). Production databases reside in
managed Google Cloud infrastructure with restricted access. Access tokens for
WhatsApp and AI providers are stored as environment secrets and rotated when
suspected compromised. We log security-relevant events and review them
periodically.
6. Your rights
Subject to verification, you can ask us to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Delete your account and associated data ("right to erasure").
- Export your generated assets in a portable format.
- Withdraw consent or object to specific processing.
Send requests to contactus@turingedge.ai with
the WhatsApp number registered with us. We respond within 30 days.
7. Children
Johri AI is a business tool and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do
not knowingly collect data from minors.
8. International transfers
Our infrastructure operates in the United States (Google Cloud
us-central1). By using Johri AI, you consent to your data being transferred
to and processed in that region under contractual safeguards.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be
announced via WhatsApp message to active accounts at least 14 days before they
take effect.
